In the early morning light at La Bou's in Sacramento, a half dozen sleepy NSX owners gathered in preparation for a day of fun in the sun NSX style. After gathering the troops and tanking up on caffeine, we set up for Del Paso Canyon. There we met up with some members of the Bay Area chapter for the drive over the hill.
With some spirited driving, we managed to make it to the Mt Hamilton Observatory with all of the cars intact and no bicycles run into the weeds (there was a Mt. Hamilton bike race that day). The observatory was a very interesting rest stop where regrouped and sych'd ourselves up for the downhill run into Milpitas. Just as we left the observatory, we were greeted by the BMW club that was on its way up with about 50 cars. The narrow mountain road looked more like rush hour than a Saturday drive.

After reaching Milpitas we joined the Bay Area chapter for lunch at the Macaroni Grill. From there the tour left for the Blackhawk Auto Museum. This was a very interesting display of many one-of-a-kind cars. All in perfect condition. Makes one wonder if the last NSX will ever end up in a place like that.
At the museum, we were given a very informative private tour by Micheal McCulley. He is not the normally as a docent, but he was there for a special dinner party being held at the museum.
After leaving the museum about an hour after closing the Sacramento chapter headed home via the delta roads. With a stop for dinner at a small restaurant along one of the delta sloughs we ended our day.
