NSX Performance Driving School

May 27 2005

After a 2 year haitus the Sacramento Chapter of the NSXCA will be organizing a NSX performance driving school at Thunderhill again.  This school will be operated by the NC Racing organization which will be providing the registration and the instructors.  Registration can be completed at http://www.ncracing.org/reg/reg-050527.html.  If you register before 5/7 the fee is $245.  If you are an NSXCA member, the NCRacing membership will be waived.

The NSX Performance Driving School  is a great opportunity to learn the limits of the NSX in a very safe and controlled environment.  And for seeing NSX's on the track.   Participation is typically limited to around 60 drivers with an anticipated 50 or so NSX's.  This offers an absolutely excellent track time with guaranteed no traffic on the full 3.0 mile track.  We run the course with no chicanes or other diversions.  For this event, the track will be run clockwise.

The number of students will be limited by the number of available instructors, it will not exceed 60 students This ensure a high instructor to student ratio.  We offer a program of personalized instruction that ensures safety while maintaining the fun of being on the track.

The NSXCA Driving schools in 2004 will be produced by the Northern California Racing Club.  This association will provide NSXCA with professional track coordination and management capabilities.  NSXCA members will also enjoy access to other NC Racing events without having to pay NC Racing membership dues.  For the track addicts, this will provide access to ~20 track and performance driving events each year in Northern California (click here to view NCR schedule).
