The Sacramento Chapter irregularly performs a patrol of the winding back roads in the area around Sacramento. These patrols rendezvous at a hastily arranged location, often with less than 24 hours notice, at the crack of dawn. They will then sweep through the designated route in tight formation following the patrol leader searching for local speed traps, slow drivers and rough roads. Carefully documenting the location of each so that future drivers in the region will be able to pass this way again safely. This is a thankless job, undertaken only by the brave few willing to endure the cold, risk being scalded by hot coffee, and awake enough to find the rendezvous point in the dark.
The following links will take you to a map of each of the recent patrols.
