Meeting Notes
We encourage members to join the national club - lots of discounts on parts & labor with dealers (Niello etc). Membership at Sac Chapter is free
Members should visit website regularly for updates. 2 sample write-ups from Comtech posted on what to do on car for track (preparation etc) under Apr 23 Thunderhill event
We all can get 10% from Steve (dealer) on Snap-on Parts/Tools. Catalog passed to group by Al. If we want a bigger discount, we can order as a group. If members interested, to bring up in meeting so that we can buy as a group.
Chris Wilson showed up the night before to show off his super charger set up, he claims he can get better mileage than stock.
McClellan Aviation museum selling raffle ticket for Hogs 'N' Flight V Open house event on Jul 14. Raffle ticket at $10 for draw on motor-cycle. If interested, get raffle ticket from Al.
The NSX, NSXCA and NSXPO logos are woned by Honda America. Only teh NSXCA and NSXPO logos are licensed to the club for use. Apparently the dealers can use the NSX logo for advertising and promotions. Hrant is exploring the possibility of having Niello produce garments with the NSX logo. He is looking at jackets and other goods.
Any want interested in a private collection aviation tour? Al can arrange for a half a day tour.
Thunderhill Apr 23 Track school.
To meet budget, we really need 60 cars. 11 are registered so far. Have opened up to other clubs - BMW Golden Gate Chapter. Enquires so far from S2000, Mercedes. Allow Convertibles this year - require SCCA-approved safety setup. More flexibility this time with only 3 run groups, you get extra 30min. Instructor won't run on novice group.
Question/ideas needed from group on how to represent additional sponsorship.
Additional Drive / Keith Jarrett
Intend to do a Summer drive especially if we get the NSXPO bid to explore routes. Keith can give you a pretty good tour. If you know of a good drive at Napa, Sonoma, please forward on. Can add it to NSXPO event.
Wine Tour at Russian River
To be held tentatively on July 2002. Email to Al if anyone wants to help / explore etc. Al will email details later.
NSXPO

There will also be an autocross section.
Autocross season
Hit a snag at Mather. American Autocross and Competition Car Club. Some dates firmed up at Cal Expo.
