Treasurer's
report
Treasury – we made a little money for Thunderhill. AT the end of it all, we are looking at 6000-7000 in the kitty.

Business
Thunderhill
Thunderhill event on 4/23. Problems that we had: Need earlier registration… maybe offer discount for early birds. Hit 53 students. We ran 3 run groups and 5 sessions. We had instructor burnout. Special thanks to Valerie for her effort – helped us with lunch etc. While it saved a bit of money, the students preferred this format as they could make their own lunch the way the wanted it. Thunderhill dropped Hrant a note asking if anyone wants to help out as Instructor in their upcoming event – a recognition for the group.
Dawn Patrol
Group met up about 5:30 in Placerville for a spirited drive through the foothills. About 45 minutes in, the road gave out as it had been torn up for construction. Undaunted, the morning patrol reversed course and spent the morning hours improvising on the side roads of Hwy 49 south of Auburn.
Wine Tour
Al is still working on the details of the wine tour for Napa and Sonoma valleys in late July or early August.
Italiano Concorso
There will be a coral again at the Concorso this year. Mike "Chromatose" Niday is organizing.
Pettitt Automotive
Bruce Pettitt has left Neillo Acura and opened his own shop in Roseville. He is offering discounts to NSXCA members for most services.
NSXPO 2003
The Northwest Region is on again for the 2003 NSXPO at Sears Point. The board has taken another look and with the Northeast region realizing that they are not as organized as they believed were. Northeast will be the host for the 2004 NSXPO event.

Thunderhill
Apr 23 Track school.
Thunderhill was a success, with late signups, we made the financial numbers, even came out ahead. There were more spins and off track excursions and our first bent sheet metal this round. The belief is thte instructors are becoming more comfortable with the feel of the NSX and letting the students have a little more leeway. Other than the one car to car contact incident, there was no serious damage.
