Old Business
Thunderhill
A very successful track event with 46 paying students and 42 NSX's in attendance. After Niello's generous contribution and all of the expenses closed, We appear to have cleared about $1734.
During the course of the event, there were too many spins, but no bend sheet metal. Some bruised egos but no other injuries. Many lessons learned.
The Monday night dinner had about 40 people joining. The raffle after was very good, thanks to the many generous donations by our sponsors. Please remember to thanks them profusely when you patronize their business. The only draw back was the winnings were a bit concentrated between Jon Nastro and Joe Gavazza. Joe and Val bought lots of tickets, Jon was just plain lucky with 6 winning tickets out of 6 purchased.

Club Officer Nominations
Time of the year to look for new club officers. The floor is now open for nominations. Currently Joe has volunteered for the treasurer position. No other officer nominations have been put forward yet. Please come forward to do your contribution for the club.
Other nominations can be sent to Al Terpak by email. We will vote in the new officers at the November meeting
New Meeting Site
The Lion's Gate Inn is the current leading contender for the next meeting. More details to follow.
October 5th Drive
Looking for people that want to drive down to the Bay Area club meting on the 5th. There is a plan for a drive afterwards and possibly some free time on a new golf driving range on the way back. Contact Al Terpak if you are interested.
NSX NickNaks
Brian Butts found some Honda produced NSX goodies (Key rings and hats) that Honda could not sell to the dealers and were trying to close out at some of the events. He brought some along to the club and sold to other members at his cost.
Salinas Air Museum Drive
John Keller is organizing a drive to the Air Museum in Salinas on the 1st Saturday in November (11/2). Stay tuned for more details.
Dawn Patrol
Brian has taken on the challenge of organizing one more dawn patrol before the frost sets in. Look for more information in the next 3-4 weeks.
NSXPO 2003
Planning for the 2003 NSXPO is still progressing. Currently hunting for economical hotels. The nice hotels are $165 per night and up. Others are available in teh $100 per night range nearby. No decisions yet.
Christmas Dinner
Looking for a site for the Christmas Dinner. Some suggestions on the table, Slocum House, Capitol Club, Christophe's, and Biba. Any other suggestions should be forwarded to Al for consideration.
