And one couple sure knows how to enjoy life, they came with a chilled bottle of champagne ...... ;-)
Treasurer's Report
Hrant noted that due to Joseph's busy schedule, and given the need to have a treasurer deal with various pending financial matters till the end of the year, Fritz has volunteered to take the duties of the Treasurer. Fritz noted that when he took over the account on Tuesday, the balance was $6587.46 and $1398 was the amount due to TrackMasters - netting the club $602 from the Infineon track event. To his knowledge there are no outstanding expenses.
- Status of who has access to the account: Hrant noted as of the change over, Steve, Fritz and Hrant had access to the account at Washington Mutual - albeit Fritz is the Treasurer with responsibilities of a finance officer.
- Status of club PayPal: We will most likely open an a new account if we can't resolve the access issues with the current account which is held by Tom Kohrs. Tom is gone sailing ;-)
- The balance from the NSXCA if any - spend it or lose it policy: Fritz is looking into this with Ken Sax the national Treasurer.
Old Business
- Wine Tour in the foothills - Calvin
- Acura of Stockton meet - Calvin/Steve
- Charity function - Lito
The focus was on making the last big function in 2006 as a fund raiser on the same day that we will have the Christmas/Holiday event. Steve and Calvin will be meeting with the organizers on Monday and will brief us further of the logistics involved for a toys for tots type program.
- Web updates - Tom is willing to offer access to the website. Need to pursue this, and as noted before, if need be with club funds. Hrant noted that per Carlos, Vytas was working with Tom to upgrade the websites. Gary noted he had expertise with web development so we will tap him if there is no progress. Also Danielle, Steve's son, does web design so that is another option to keep in mind. We will give the process till the next club meeting before launching our separate effort.
- Coordination with Bay for scheduling activities - Hrant noted that the door is always open to have joint events but at this time, the Bay area still lacks an organizational structure to pull people together as a club. Carlos and Gary will see what they can put together to move the process. The Sacto Chapter invites the Bay/East Bay to join the 12/16 Christmas/Holiday party in Stockton, and will continue to host/hold events in different locations to increase participation.
New Business
- Christmas/Holiday Dinner at Dave Wong's Restaurant in Stockton - details/menus: Steve noted that the details of the 12/16 function will follow and anyone with particular interest of what they want to see on the menu should contact him. The net cost to NSXCA members in good standing will be $15 after club subsidy. Steve is also hosting everyone for a glass of wine.
- Track Events, check the schedules:

- Other new business: None
Next meeting: Christmas/Holiday Dinner 12/16 at Dave Wong's Restaurant in Stockton. 7:00 PM - but most likely there will be the toys for tots program earlier.
Before adjourning, Lito introduced all the attendees ...... and it is no surprise how all the introductions start with: Name, NSX model year and whether it is stock or not, and whether it has seen the track or not .... LOL!
Adjourn: the official part of the meeting was closed at about 1:20 PM.
